MDN RANKS 14th 2024 CMCI RATINGS ANEW
Maguindanao del Norte ranks 14th out of the nation’s 82 Provinces on the recent Cities and Municipalities Competitiveness Index (CMCI).
This award recognizes the outstanding performances of Local Government Units (LGUs) across the country.
Governor Abdulraof “Gob Sam” Macacua credits this remarkable feat to the social cohesion of the local chief executives of the 12 municipalities and the constituents who continuously endeavor for sustainable development.
According to him, this is a clear testament of the province’s economic dynamism, efficiency, infrastructure development, resiliency, and innovation.
The Cities and Municipalities Competencies Index (CMCI) is an annual ranking of Philippine cities and municipalities developed by National Competitiveness Council through the Regional Competitiveness Committees (RCCs), with the assistance of the United States Agency for International Development.
