Governor Abdulraof “Gob Sam” Macacua graced the municipality of Buldon’s “Mayor’s Gala” on October 29 at Cotabato city.
The celebration is the culminating activity of Buldon’s 63rd Founding Anniversary and 9th Saduratan Festival.
With the theme, “Transmission of human experience for resiliency, sustainability and sensitivity in digital era through culture cultivation”, the event highlighted the municipality’s rich tradition and customs, and the importance of digitalization on sustainable development.
In his speech, Governor Macacua congratulated the local government unit of Buldon for its success.
He also recognized the municipality, along with the Iranun corridor for their contributions in fulfilling the aspirations of the Bangsamoros’ right to self-determination.
“It is only proper and appropriate to congratulate the municipality of Buldon for their success sa pagpapatakbo sa kanilang local government. Another thing na ico-congratulate ay hindi lingid sa ating kaalaman, na ang Iranun corridor ay napakalaki ang kontribusyon sa kung paano natin nakamtan ngayon ang BARMM government,” he said.
One of the highlights of the event is the grand prize of an umrah package sponsored by Governor Macacua.
Among the personages present were LtCol John Dela Cruz, Congresswoman Bai Dimple Mastura, Sultan Kudarat Mayor Tucao Mastura, CPA, Matanog Mayor Zohria Bansil-Guro, Parang Mayor Cahar Ibay, Sultan Mastura Mayor Zulficar Ali Panda, and Matanog Vice Mayor Sanairah Imam.
